Two Wrestling Team Freshmen Become OVAC Champions

Two Wrestling Team Freshmen Become OVAC Champions

Congratulations to two of our freshmen athletes for becoming OVAC Wrestling Champions!

In this year's Ron Mauck OVAC wrestling tournament, Linsly's Georgie Mamakos ‘28 (pictured left) won in the 132 lb weight class and Brock Humphrey, ‘28 (pictured right) won in the 106 lb class. This is an amazing accomplishment for freshmen participants and it is the first time in program history to have two OVAC wrestling champions in the same year!

The Ohio Valley Athletic Conference (OVAC) is a high school sports league in parts of southeastern Ohio and northern West Virginia. The OVAC is the largest conference of its kind in the United States. Schools in the upper Ohio Valley supply over 18,000 athletes in various competitive athletic areas.
